I’m Chris, founder of Consiliuma. I combine more than 25 years of design and development experience with a small team, carefully built systems and modern automation to do thoughtful, effective digital work for businesses that care about getting it right.

Good digital work is still personal.
Every project starts with a desire to understand the business before designing anything. That means a phone call, a notepad and the first rough drawings: what the business does, who it serves, what is getting in the way and what a better version should feel like. I lead the thinking and the work, with a trusted team helping where a project needs it.

Strong visual design is not decoration. It gives a business clarity, confidence and a better way to be understood.

Why our designs start on paper, not Figma.
Opening design software too early is where most websites go wrong. Design tools encourage people to arrange pre-made cards, shuffle generic layouts, and chase cosmetic trends without understanding what the business is actually doing.
We pick up pens and graph paper first. We map user mental models, information hierarchy, friction points, and commercial incentives. We solve the human and business equation on the page before a single line of software is rendered.
The result is design with structural substance — interfaces that feel natural, command trust, and convert visitors into buyers.

Our Journey

We didn't start yesterday. We’ve guided clients through every major technological transformation of the modern web.
The first website, built in my father’s factory.
I started by building my first website in Microsoft Publisher in 1999, sitting in my father’s factory and teaching myself how the pieces fitted together. From there came Dreamweaver, hand-written code, WordPress and every major shift in the web that followed. That long apprenticeship still shapes how I think: start with the person, understand the purpose, then build carefully.
Result: A practical foundation built over time, not a short course or a fashionable label.
Learning what makes digital work in the real world.
Over more than 25 years, I have worked across design, websites, content, search, commerce and software. I have seen what businesses need from their digital presence after the launch: clarity, speed, ownership, maintainability and a route to better conversations with customers. The work has changed repeatedly; the responsibility to make it useful has not.

AI is part of that toolkit, but it is not the identity of the business. The work still begins with a phone call, a notepad and a conversation about what needs to change.
